Eligible schemes will show attention to some or all of the following: The relationship between different buildings: the relationship between buildings and the open spaces that make up the public domain; the nature and quality of of the public domain; the relationship between one part of a village, town or city and another and the patterns of movement and activity that are to be seen in the area. Judges At the first stage of judging, entries will be assessed by a team consisting of: a leading architect, a local authority planning expert and a local lay person (who expresses the views of the community). Wherever possible, an expert in disabled access will be included on the team. This team reports its recommendations to our National Panel, a small group of experts in building and the environment, all at the top of their professions.
