Details Eligible: Public Sector (partnership with Private Sector acceptable)

Awarded to a public sector organisation that through commitment and action, delivers a project of direct benefit to a community and through this demonstrates corporate citizenship and commitment to sustainable development. The project should demonstrate community involvement in all aspects of the project and ideally show how the community will benefit in social and economic, as well as environmental terms.

The Judging Panel will also be looking for innovation in the way people have been engaged in the project and how community involvement will be maintained in the long term.

Entry Requirements Project must be based in Greater Merseyside or Warrington. A maximum 1000 describing your project/initiative. 2. A maximum 100 word summary on paper 3. A maximum 100 word summary on CD or by e-mail 4. A maximum of 4 good quality images on CD or by e-mail 5. One A4 sheet of press articles and/or other supporting information may be submitted 6. A copy of the organisations' Environmental Policy may also be submitted. If applying by e-mail using the MS Word version of Application Form to be found at www.groundworkmerseysideenvironmentalawards.co.uk 1. A maximum 1000 describing your project/initiative. 2.
