Details To recognise excellence in design in the public realm in Northern Ireland

Entry Requirements Must be a recently completed project
Entry Fee $146.88 standard fee, 111.63 LA's, 70.50 charity
Criteria Summary This award will be given to the scheme that best demonstrates excellence in design in the public realm. Projects from both the commercial and public sectors are eligible for this award which will include; improvements to the built environment, public services or work places, public art projects and regeneration projects.
Judges At the first stage of judging, entries will be assessed by a team consisting of: a leading architect, a local authority planning expert and a local lay person (who expresses the views of the community). Wherever possible, an expert in disabled access will be included on the team. This team reports its recommendations to our National Panel, a small group of experts in building and the environment, all at the top of their professions. The National Panel ensures that the judging standards are consistent across the UK and makes the final decisions.
