The Wales Recycling Awards aim to recognise and reward excellence in Welsh recycling. The awards will be presented by Jane Davidson AM at the glittering Cylch Conference Gala Dinner at the Marriott Hotel on October 21st.
The closing date for all categories is July 16th 2010. Criteria and forms are available at www.cylch.org.uk.

| Entry Requirements |
Open to organisations working in re-use, recycling, composting or community engagement in Wales.
The Innovation and Outstanding Contribution awards are open to public, private or third sector organisations operating in Wales.
The Local Authority Partnership Award is open to Local Authorities in Wales.
The Community Recycler of the Year Award is open to Cylch Full Members. |

| Criteria Summary |
Innovation Award:
Open to organisations working in recycling in Wales who have developed an innovative recycling project, product, activity or service.
Outstanding Contribution Award:
Rewarding the unsung heroes of recycling.
Local Authority Partnership Award:
Local Authorities will be nominated in recognition of their work in partnership with their local community.
Community Recycler of the Year:
Open to Cylch Members who have worked with their local community to achieve excellence in recycling.

| Judges |
The shortlisting panel will consist of:
A member of Cylch’s Management Team,
two members of the Cylch Board of Trustees,
a representative from the Welsh Assembly Government,
a representative from the Welsh Local Government Association,
representative(s) from each of the Wales Recycling Awards Sponsors – these will be major players in the field of recycling, such as reprocessors or companies with strong environmental credentials. |
