Prestigious awards scheme running for 35 years. Applications are open to UK companies that encourage environmental practices helping to conserve natural resources and reduce waste pollution. Awards are given in three broad categories of improvements to process, product and project/management. The awards are free to enter and open to businesses of any size and sector. Awards winners are automatically entered into the European Environment Awards scheme.

| Entry Requirements |
Entries are invited from UK businesses that are for profit for commercial enterprise. The other criteria are:
* The entry must be for a specific product, process or management project, which is clearly defined and exemplary in itself.
* The project must be substantially complete at the time of entry or have been completed within the past two years.
* Tangible results must be available that demonstrate environmental leadership in the sector and the financial viability of the project.
* The environment must be embedded within the business model of the organisation. It must be part of the corporate philosophy and practice.
A correctly completed and eligible application form must be submitted.
The entry requirements must be adhered to.
